SmartEditor Demo

This SmartClip has been developed to replace an input form on a page and allow richer style and formatting to be applied to a user text input. Type some text in the box below and change it's style by selecting text and using the buttons. When you submit the form, the FSCommand is used to transfer the rich text into a hidden element on the page, which is then posted to an ASP page which processes the "dirty HTML" that flash produces, and parses out well-formed html mark-up for display or insertion into a database.

Note: If you have the debug flash player, and flash is running on your machine, you can view the source code when prompted to de-bug. Otherwise, ignore the prompt that appears upon loading.
